This painting was sponsored by BAE Systems and presented by the RAF to the Royal Saudi Air Force during the 2023 'Spears of Victory' joint exercise. Hosted by the RSAF at King Abdulaziz Air Base, Spears of Victory involves contingents from the UK, Bahrain, Greece, Jordan, Pakistan, Qatar, the USA, Kuwait, and the UAE, alongside several branches of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia military. Pilots and support personnel from 6 Squadron RAF, based at Lossiemouth were deployed to the kingdom with their Typhoon aircraft.

The painting represents over one hundred years of bilateral cooperation between the RAF and RSAF depicting a 6 Squadron Typhoon, an RSAF Hawker Hunter from the 1960s and a Westland Wapiti - one of the very first aircraft types used by the nascent Saudi Air Force in the 1920s. Oil on canvas.
