HMS Exeter was a Type 42 (Batch 2) destroyer, the fifth Royal Navy ship to be given that name. Commissioned in 1980, she was involved in the Falklands War and the first Gulf War. She was decommissioned in 2009 and scrapped in 2011. Oil on board.
