A Hawker Hurricane of South East Asia Command has skidded off the pierced steel planking (PSP) runway after heavy rain at an airfield in Burma (now Myanmar) during WWII. An Asian Elephant and its owner have been drafted in to help pull the aircraft out of its predicament.
